Prof. Dr. Philipp Ebel is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of St.Gallen and heads the Competence Center Cognitive Automation at the Institute for Information Systems (IWI-HSG) . He is also a guest researcher at the Department of Information Systems at the University of Kassel. His research focuses on agile innovation, digital business models and hybrid intelligence. He teaches in various executive education programs on these topics. Since 2011 he has been active as a consultant, trainer and member of the advisory board for various companies.
Prof. Ebel studied technology and management oriented business administration at the Technical University of Munich and received his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) at the University of Kassel. In his doctorate, Prof. Ebel dealt with the development of an IT environment for the joint creation of business models.
His research work has been published in numerous renowned international journals and conferences.
