Prof. Dr. Ivo Blohm is Associate Professor for Information Systems and Business Analytics at the Institute for Information Management at the University of St.Gallen.
He has studied Technology & Management at Technische Universität München (minor electrical engineering), where he also obtained a doctoral degree with distinction. He heads up several publicly and industry-funded research projects in the field of Big Data & Data Science, Crowdsourcing and Digital Innovation
His teaching at the University of St. Gallen focuses on the Big Data, Data Science and Business Analytics.
He has worked together with companies such as BMW, VW, ProSiebenSat.1, Helsana, Axa, Geberit, PostFinance, Raiffeisen, Migrosbank, Migros Genossenschaftsbund and many more.
Ivo Blohm has been ranked on place 40 (out of german-speaking 2854 researchers) in terms of research productivity
Besides, he is co-founder of two startups in the domains of agile transformation and predictive analytics.
