Dr. Sina Wulfmeyer is Chief Data Officer and Lead Financial Industries at Unique – a European startup providing an AI-driven conversational platform to better understand customers and build deeper, more meaningful client relationships. Unique is a first mover for AI-driven capabilities for financial services in Europe, like ChatGPT to summarize conversations, write follow-up emails or automatic detection of stock transactions.
Sina is a proven data specialist for financial applications with over 15 years of experience. Prior to joining Unique, Sina led various projects in the area of data strategy and applications in a major international bank in Switzerland (Credit Suisse AG). As part of the bank’s largest compliance project, Sina and her team were responsible for standardizing data, defining the legal framework and developing relevant use cases for 20+ international branches of the bank. Previously, she worked as a consultant for a large management consulting firm in Germany and the USA (Accenture AG).
In addition, Sina appears as a regular speaker & lecturer for Conversational AI, Ecosystem Technology and Data Protection. She is an advocate for executive education in data literacy, and mentors young executives in leading hybrid teams. Sina holds a PhD in Financial Modeling from the University of St. Gallen (HSG, Switzerland) and a Diploma in Economics from the University of Mannheim (Germany).
