Professor Dr. Jan Marco Leimeister is Professor of Information Management and Director of the Institute for Information Management at the University of St.Gallen (IWI-HSG).
He researches in particular the design, introduction and management of IT-based organizational forms and innovations in an increasingly digitized world. His areas of research include Service Engineering and Management, Digital Business, IT Innovation Management, Crowdsourcing & Open Innovation, Digital Work, Collaboration & Learning Engineering.
He is an editor of various international journals and active in various national and international committees. His research projects have been funded by the DFG, the EU, federal and state ministries as well as various foundations and companies.
As a consultant, advisor, coach and speaker, Jan Marco Leimeister helps companies and organizations to manage technical and organizational change in an increasingly digital society. He gained practical experience, ia. in consulting activities for VW, BBraun, Siemens, O2, Daimler, Bosch, EQT, HTGF as well as advisory board in various companies and start ups.
